After gathering in the presence of God, we acknowledge the ways in which we have interfered with God’s purpose in our lives and are assured of pardon through the indwelling witness of the Holy Spirit.
Next, we centre on the written word of God so as to draw worshipers into closer communion with the living Word of God, Jesus Christ.
Praise and prayer are integral aspects of the liturgy. We use the Book of Praise (1997) of the Presbyterian Church of Canada, singing old favourites and learning new ones. The traditional and the contemporary are both incorporated.
When our service is concluded, we are sent forth with the blessing of God into the world to further Christ’s mission.
And so we live and move and have our being in the grace of Jesus Christ, the love of God, and the communion of the Holy Spirit.
